The colors and brilliant light of Mexico have enchanted and attracted many artists! Enjoy it while painting some of the iconic doors of the area.
This workshop it’s designed for all level of painting experience. |
- Studio painting. From a wide variety of photos choose 3 photos of Mexican doors that speak to you. You will be guided step by step, receive short cuts and tips from experienced Mexican painter Fernando Gonzalez.
Maestro Fernando is a seasoned master of color.
What we’ll cover:
-The fundamentals of color
-Composition
-Elements of Art
-How to use palette knife and brushes
-5 essential painting techniques
Apply the fundamentals of acrylic painting and color in the context of painting 3 paintings representing typical Mexican Doors.
ALL MATERIALS PRVIDED (To facilitate your travel we are suppling all the martials: acrylic paint, brushes, palette knife, canvas (3 canvases 11” x 14”), an apron to use during the paining sessions
The workshop includes:
daily demonstrations,
supportive feedback,
and a show and tell in the end of the day.
Where: At Cristi Fer Art Studio and Workshops, located in Guanajuato, capital of the state of Guanajuato, Mexico. You will be surrounded by dazzling light, Mexican charm, lots to do and explor.

You Facilitator: Maestro Fernando Gonzalez, painter, muralist, educator. He is well known for his sensitive color approach. He started as a super realist painter then explored abstract painting and magic realism. He is collected and recognized in Mexico, US and Canada.
